You are invited to an open meeting of the Torbay Assembly. Join us on Friday 28th June 2024, 2-4.45pm at Parkfield House, Paignton, TQ3 2NH (we will be in the Lounge).

There is a car park onsite directly behind the house, however it only has space for approximately 20 vehicles. There is also limited free parking on Lower Polsham Road, or you can park in the Colin Road car park (please note it is pay & display/pay via a smartphone app) and walk through the skate park, through the grounds to the main house. If you’re travelling by bus, the 12 stops by Christ Church in Preston from both directions (i.e. Torquay and Brixham) followed by a 5-8 min walk down Lower Polsham Road to Parkfield House.

2.10-2.40pm:      Workshop collecting Local People’s Feedback RE transport 

Themes including public transport, highways, road maintenance/line painting and parking – we would like to hear from you and what your thoughts are, to share with Torbay Council, as we will be joined by a representative at our next meeting in September, who will be speaking to the issues raised by you and their plans to address them.

2.40-3.10pm:      The history of Parkfield House & Grounds, with John Gunson

3.10- 3.40pm:     Tour of Parkfield House & Grounds

Join in a tour around the grounds, or watch a virtual, prerecorded version from the Lounge.

3.40- 3.50pm:     Questions and Answers to John Gunson and Mark Turner, regarding People’s Parkfield CIC (Parkfield House)

3.50-4.15pm:      Cream Tea with hot and cold drinks

4.15-4.45pm:      Gentle seated or standing Tai Chi Taster Session on the Front Lawn OR continuation of Socialising and Cream Tea in the Lounge

4.45pm:              Thank you & Goodbye
