Joint meeting of Torbay Assembly & Torbay Older Citizens’ Forum, 1st March 2024

To the membership of Torbay Assembly, you are invited to a joint meeting between Torbay Assembly and Torbay Older Citizens’ Forum, taking place on Friday 1st March 2024, 2pm at The Paignton Club, 1 The Esplanade, Esplanade Road, Paignton TQ4 6ED

2:35-3 – Matt Dart: Opportunities and Volunteering in Torbay for Spring and Summer

3:35-4 – Jackie Thomas: Places and Spaces, Big Plans for Torbay in all three towns

4-4:30 – Paignton Heritage Society: The history of Paignton Harbour

4:30-4:40 – Thanks and time for questions regarding TA and TOCF

4:40-5 – Optional walk around Paignton Harbour

    I wonder if you can help me please.

    I was at your last meeting in December and met a number of people and enquired about becoming a member and even supplied my Card with my Mobile on there. 07884 063462.  This included one of the staff at the door took my details and said they would be in touch.  I also left a couple of voicemails with Amanda Lynn and no one has come back.  Sounds like a good time to try again maybe?

    As a further update, I met the Council through Jacqui Warren in December and gave a couple of her team a short talk and supplied online links and she replied saying they will support our work and would like to try and help. Part of that action was to pass my details on to a number of local people and groups, yourselves included.

    I’ve cc’d in Jess as you supplied her name also.
